Spring Lecture 2 p.m.
The topic for our spring lecture is 'In the Most Imminent Danger of Being Destroyed': The Christian Indian Village of Gnadenhuetten, Pennsylvania and the Seven Years' War. This power point presentation will be presented by Mr. Mark Turdo, Assistant Director of Interpretation and Curation at The Old Barracks in New Jersey. Admission is free but donations will be collected.

Build your own basket at the Conrad Weiser Homestead
The Friends of the Conrad Weiser Homestead are sponsoring a build-a-basket workshop at the Homestead on Sunday, May 5, 2024, from noon to 4 p.m. Each participant will build their own herb basket with Vicky Heffner, Education Curator at Berks History Center, leading the workshop. There are openings for 7 people to participate in this workshop. For Friends members, the cost is $45.00. Cost for non-members is $50.00. If you have any of these items, please bring them along, if not they will provided. Ten spring clothespins, bucket, flathead screwdriver, ruler or tape measurer, old pair of scissors, and a towel.
